Director and photographer Stephen Small-Warner’s path to filmmaking is as unique as his approach to capturing images. He went to NYU TISCH ASIA as a film producer, learning to approach one story and tell it on various different platforms — taking a film and creating a video game, an interactive website and a comic book, for example. A fan of design, he’s a student of small details and unexpected framing and composition. Originally based in New York and recently relocated to Los Angeles, you’ll frequently find him (and his cameras) on the road in Berlin, Thailand, Hong Kong or Havana.
